Dear Friends, Parents and Alumni,
Thank you for making the 14th Annual Bob Gerbino Night a success! Our Viking wrestlers performed
exceptionally well as they defeated our opponent the Clarke High School Rams. The Seaford Wrestling
Almuni voted senior Jake Asquino as the Most Outstanding Wrestler, and the post match party at the Wantagh
Inn was a "standing room only" capacity. We also express our deepest appreciation to the DiMarco family and
Rick Graf for donating their 50/50 winnings back to the Seaford wrestling program.
As mentioned, we are excited to report that Coach Bob Gerbino has been inducted into the National Wrestling
Hall of Fame for his life-long commitment and outstanding accomplishments to wrestling. Thanks to all who
submitted nominations! We encourage all Friends of Seaford Wrestling to join us at the Huntington Hilton on
Friday, April 18, 2008 for the Induction Ceremony and Dinner.
